7 commets “Fear: What’s Keeping You From Success

  1. Rob (Edit)

Tomorrow I am having an practice exam. I have to show my knowledge and skills to an examiner and of course I am slightly stressed because things can go wrong. And of course I can fail.
But I trained for it, and I have practiced everything he wants to see many times. And I have studied everything I need to know. So, with confidence I will engage the test (still somewhat nervous).
Once passed it gives tremendous satisfaction of this success and new opportunities. That’s what is it for.
Wish me luck! (that never hurts 😉

Rob, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, feelings, and experience. Just remember, there is ALWAYS something to gain from every experience, regardless of the outcome. It’s in our reflection of our experiences where we gain the lesson and grow. Be sure to reflect after your exam and receive your golden nugget! 🙂 P.S. You’ll Do Great! I Believe in You My Friend! 🙂

Rob, I’ll send you determination, not luck, because you are ready!

Melissa, what an insightful message. Plus, it puts fear where it needs to be… away. Success is really what needs to be in the forefront, and come thru in the end. Success is waiting..

    Thanks guys 😉
It worked, I passed the test!
I am happy, but I must say I lack the feeling of accomplishment. Now that it is done, I don’t feel the exhilaration… I guess that is (unfortunately) a part of me.

Heidi, I love the determination. Will focus more on that.

Congrats Rob! I knew you’d pass! You’re one of the smartest people I know. 🙂

Remember, it’s not always the attaining of the goal that’s the most vital component to our success, but rather it’s WHO WE BECOME in the attainment of the goal. Reflect on where you have grown as a person? Where have you reached, stretched, and grown in order to be where you are today? That’s where a celebration is in order! … because those are gifts that keep on giving. 🙂

I love what Heidi commented too!

    Wat to go ROB!! Congratulations!!

Relish in the process of a job well done. It doesn’t always have to be the parade of accomplishing the goal. Also, it could be there might be one more step to get you to the parade.
