“To find yourself, think for yourself.” ~ Socrates

Melissa’s Words of Wisdom

At a very young age, children are conditioned to depend on others to tell them who and what they are.  They are taught what is right and wrong, beautiful and ugly, acceptable and unacceptable.  Before you know it, that child is programmed and operating according to what everyone else has programmed them to believe about themselves and others.  They are seeking to please and gain approval of others while abandoning their true and authentic selves.  Take a moment today and look beyond what you have been taught about yourself and who you are.  Take a deeper look inside yourself and see what you see and feel.  That’s where your truth is!! It is not outside of you, but rather it’s on the inside!  Remember, nothing happens until you decide to take action!  Leave a comment below about how you will look beyond the surface and reconnect with your truth on the inside!  Happy Finding Your Truth!
