I try to focus every day on the things God has blessed me with. I have definitely noticed that when I forget to do that, more negativity creeps in and things seem to snowball. Conversely, the more I thank God for what He has blessed me with, the more good things come my way. Whenever something is getting me down, I try to remember all of my blessings and how bad others have it. I am healthy, I have a good roof over my head, two reliable vehicles, food on our table, and most of all, my three beautiful children and amazing husband who provides abundantly through his successful business that allows me to raise our children. After all of that, it is hard to feel bad about much else.

I have to agree with Allison… when we forget to remind ourselves of all we are blessed with, we crack open that spot that negativity likes to squeeze in, like a mouse…. and you wonder later, “how did that get in here?”
