“A pessimist, they say, sees a glass of water as being half-empty; an optimist sees the same glass as half-full.  But a giving person sees a glass of water and starts looking for someone who might be thirsty.” ~ G. Donald Gale

Melissa’s Words of Wisdom

This quote is so beautiful and reminds me of one of my all-time favorite books, The Go-Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann.  It’s such an amazing book jam-packed with a lot of heart and a lot of power.  The book perfectly illustrates how when you look beyond yourself and be of service to others and help others create what they desire, that you will receive more than you ever imagined.  It’s the Law of Giving and Receiving!  The important idea here though, is that you don’t go looking to be of service solely to “get” something in return, but rather you give and be of service for the sake of being of service because you enjoy it!  Remember, nothing happens until you decide to take action!  Leave a comment below about what you will do today to be a Go-Giver.  Happy Being a Go-Giver!

Get out your agenda/journal for today because

Melissa, your message is such a great reminder… BE of Service. When you are beyond thinking of yourself, your service brings you blessing in return.

AND that book is one of my favorites, thanks to you for introducing me to it! 🙂
