“You become successful when you exploit your natural talents. Tom Hanks, and anyone else you can think of who is, or was, wildly successful at what they do, work to the bone at becoming even better at what they are naturally gifted at doing.” ~ Michael Port
Melissa’s Words of Wisdom
I have to say, leaving my “day job” as a web administrator and following my natural talents as a trainer, coach, and speaker has been the best decision of my life! It has lead to my greatest successes and I have never felt so “in my skin” than I do now! Even though when I left my job, I had not perfected my coaching, training, and coaching skills by any means! I had a lot of work to do. However, I’d have to say all my hard work (and continual hard work) is paying off in great ways. What are your natural talents? What talent naturally flows out of you? The next important question to ask yourself is, have you found a way to do it for a living? We all have natural talents and there is really no reason to not strengthen them and make a living out of it. Why pass up the chance to get paid for what you love and are naturally good at?? When you are doing what you love and what you are naturally good at, your best self and your best work shines through and you naturally love every minute of the day! Happy Exploiting Your Natural Talents!
